“You can’t measure the mutual affection of two human beings
by the number of words they exchange.”
― Milan Kundera
We are in the home stretch! I’m so thankful for how my family and friends have kept me so busy during this year apart from my husband! I spent some time in Michigan visiting my grandma and my aunt, then popped over to Nebraska and caught up with friends. I was lucky enough to get some of them in front of my camera, so prepare yourself for the cuteness! This week cousins came into town and I am so thankful I was able to squeeze a moment in with them before they headed back to South Carolina.
And this weekend? Well, this weekend was spent doing a mini reunion with Vanessa and Michelle, both of whom I’ve known since middle school. Vanessa lives in DC (I saw her in January when I went to the Katelyn James Workshop!) and hasn’t been back to Texas in YEARS, so we had to take her around and show her how Austin has drastically changed! There was epic food, late night laughter, and the peace that comes from spending time with people who’ve grown up with you. I’m so refreshed and ready to tackle the week!! Work is keeping me plenty busy but the military stuff for our impending move is starting to pile up. Cheers for busy Monday’s y’all!
