Zosia turned one and we had to celebrate! Her mom found an adorable onesie from Etsy and pink tutu! I always encourage clients to bring along a cute outfit for their little one’s session, but honestly a diaper cover looks just as sweet. I kept the background simple as usual to make sure that Zosia stands out from the image!

Using 6 latex balloons for the pops of color, I ensured that Zosia remained the main focus of each image! I always want your baby to be the star of the session, which is why I don’t offer elaborate backdrops and set ups! Plus I think a simple background is a much more timeless look.


As always a Luxe Cake Smash Session ends with a Bubble Bath Splash! I used an antique wash tub (that I discovered at a European Antique Market!) and filled it with warm water and Honest Company body wash. Honestly, this part creates some of my most favorite images from the entire session!
